(MENAFN) Saudi power solutions provider Altaaqa Global Cat Rental Power has installed a 54 MW power plant in the province of Aden, Yemen, the company said on its website.
The governor and Public Electricity Corporation (PEC) officials, together with various government officials and the executives of Altaaqa Global, inaugurated the power plant that will provide up to 15 per cent of the province’s summer electricity demand.
Khalil Abdul-Malik, director general of PEC hailed the speedy execution of the project as it took only 23 days from the day they signed the contract until the day that we have supplied electricity.
