(MENAFN) Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air, shifted all its flights from Chennai to the new international Terminal 2 today which is in the current airport, according to Gulf Daily News.
New services, which were not available in the previous terminal, will be provided in the new international terminal, such as duty-free shops, check-in desks, food and beverage outlets, that all aim to comfort the travelers in their trip to and from Chennai.
Abdul Hussain Abdul Rahman, Gulf Air’s country manager for India, commented: “We are delighted to have transferred our operations to the new international terminal at Chennai airport.”
He added: “The state-of-the-art facilities as well as the variety of duty-free shops and food and beverage outlets will make our passengers’ travel experience more enjoyable.”
