(MENAFN) The executive council of Abu Dhabi agreed to fund new infrastructure and social projects worth USD4.3 billion, Arabian Business reported.
Around USD1.17 billion were assigned for the construction of Al Ain New Hospital Project which will have 719 beds with VIP wards and royal suites.
The council allocated USD1.41 billion for the Al Mafraq-Al Ghuwaifat road project. The 248 kilometer-long road aims at reducing car accidents and improving safety as well as reducing traffic jams and time needed to travel.
The council also agreed to provide USD843.87 million for housing loan payments for over 1,500 people.
