(MENAFN) The highway is 70 percent finished and is predicted to be completed by the end of this current year, which will be built at USD 0.57bn linking Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Moreover, the road, covering from Seih Shuaib to Sweihan Interchange, is forecasted to be done by the end of 2016.
Accordingly, the new highway will expose the traffic pressure on the recent Abu Dhabi-Dubai Road, reduce the number of accidents, and join Khalifa Port and Industrial Zone.
The project, including four lanes in both sides, is an extension of the Mohamed bin Zayed Road (E311) in Seih Shuaib at the Dubai border.
