(MENAFN) Target Engineering, a subsidiary of Arabtec, the Dubai construction company, said that it inked USD69.67 million worth of construction deals with the Abu Dhabi Government, reported The National.
The company added that the contracts included a USD31.57 million contract to work on the Emirates Aluminum Smelter Project and a USD29.94 million deal for work on the Ruwais Refinery Expansion Project.
On the other hand, Drake & Scull International (DSI) also said that it inked a USD34.56 million contract with the Abu Dhabi Government to carry out mechanical, electrical and plumbing work on a government facility.
It is worth noting that Abu Dhabi signed more than US95.2 million in construction deals with UAE firms, following the emirate’s Executive Council announcement that it plans to invest millions of dollars in local projects.
