Abu Dhabi hotels post 18.3% climb in Feb occupancy rate

(MENAFN) STR Global stated that last month’s occupancy rate at Abu Dhabi hotels increased 18.3 percent from a year before, reported Arabian Business.

The firm said that revenue per available room (RevPAR) at the UAE capital grew by 24.2 percent, reaching USD143.41.

Meanwhile, occupancy rates across the country rose by 5.7 percent in the month to 84.2 percent, whereas RevPAR gained 13.1 percent and average daily rate (ADR) went up 7 percent.

It is worth noting that occupancy in the Middle East and Africa region grew by 6.4 percent in February to 66.4 percent, while ADR rose 2.9 percent to USD176.55 and RevPAR gained 9.5 percent to USD117.24.
