(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi’s inflation inched up by 1.2 percent in the second quarter of the year, with “Restaurants and Hotels” group making the most contribution of 3 percent, according to the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (Scad), Gulf News reported.
The average consumer prices increased by 1.1 percent in June against the previous month, Scad added in its official statement which also pointed at a 0.2 percent increase from April to March.
The “Housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels” group logged a 2 percent upsurge during June, accounting for the biggest increase, tailed by “Food and beverages” with a 1.2 percent gain.
