Abu Dhabi inflation rate up 2.4 percent

(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi inflation rate jumped 2.4 percent in April compared to the same period of last year, while housing, water, power and other fuels added pressure on prices.

Howvever, the CPI declined by 0.1 percent monthly in April this year, while last year it reached 3.0 percent.

On the other hand, housing, water, elect, gas and other fuels’ group reached the largest increase among the first four months of the year.

Moreover, food, beverage touched 12.3 percent affected 1.2 percent change in inflation, education 4.4 percent, restaurant 5 percent and other services 3.3 percent.
