(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi’s Department of Economic Development (DED) stated that during 2012’s first 3 months, the department issued 2,000 new commercial licenses, reported The National.
The DED said that in January, the number of issued licenses reached 768; however, it dropped to 685 in the year’s third month.
It added that even though the number of new issued licenses during the period recorded an increase from last year’s same period, however, it was down when compared with 2010’s same quarter, when the number of issued licenses was 3,253.
It is worth noting that during the first quarter, the number of renewed licenses totaled 17,866.
