(MENAFN) The Khalifa Port Container Terminal, located in Abu Dhabi, recorded 35 percent growth in the number of volumes undertaken during the first quarter if the year, Gulf News reported.
Abu Dhabi Ports have already covered 3.51 million freight tons of cargo in the first quarter of the year, compared to 2.6 million freight tons handled in the corresponding period last year.
“This trend looks set to continue looking at our latest figures, as containers, general and bulk cargo have all increased by more than 30 percent to date.” The Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Ports said.
