(MENAFN) Etihad Cargo, the freighter unit of Abu Dahbi-based Etihad Airways, reported 18 percent increase in cargo volumes in July from a year earlier, Arabian Business reported.
The company said that network volumes were close to 33,000 tons last month. The figure surpassed March record of 31,700 tons.
The freighter also reported a 4-percent increase in revenue in July compared to June, and 8 percent increase from a year earlier.
Kevin Knight, Etihad Airways chief planning expected to maintain strong freight performance over the third and fourth quarters of 2012.
Etihad Cargo currently operates a fleet of six freighters.
