(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) confirmed its Eastern Mangroves resort was on track for first phase completion in June, Arabian Business reported.
The project, which occupies a prime position along a 1.2km stretch of Abu Dhabi’s protected Eastern Mangroves district, incorporates a 222-room five-star Eastern Mangroves Hotel and Spa by Anantara, a resort-style residential community and the Eastern Mangroves Promenade retail complex.
The master developer said that the hotel and first phase of the residential units will be completed in summer 2012, while the retail area and remaining residential buildings will be finished in Q4.
TDIC also stated that the main construction work of the Promenade retail complex is completed and handover of the outlets to tenants will begin in Q3. More than 2,000 workers are currently on site, the statement said.
