(MENAFN) ACDelco sales in Saudi Arabia in the six months period ended June 30 surged 21 percent compared to the prior-year period. Also, in Kuwait, the automotive spare parts company increased sales by 24 percent in the period, Saudi Gazette reported.
These results in the two countries helped push the company’s overall sales in the Middle East by 27 percent aided by strong demand on auto spare parts.
Regional Parts Wholesale Manager at General Motors Middle East, Muneer Al Hassan, said: “ACDelco sales have performed extremely well this year and I expect this to continue for the remainder of 2013.”
ACDelco’s sales in the Middle East were almost entirely in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) with 98 percent. Saudi Arabia is the company’s largest market in the region followed by the UAE.
