(MENAFN) Sharjah-based budget carrier Air Arabia is set to launch its services to Basra, its third destination in Iraq after Najaf and Erbil, Emirates 24/7 reported.
Located in Southern Iraq, Basra is the second largest city in Iraq after the Capital Baghdad. The City is known for its large petroleum resources and fertile agriculture region.
The airline will fly to Basra, three times a week, starting on November 4, bringing Air Arabia’s global network to 79 destinations.
The new service to Basra will bring the total number of Air Arabia’s weekly flights to Iraq to 18.
