(MENAFN) Air Arabia recorded a net profit of AED103mn for the first quarter of this year, a 10 percent less than the same period of 2016 number of AED114mn.
Among the same period, the airline posted a turnover of AED810mn, a 14 percent less than the same period of 2016, while solid fiscal results were posted amid the continuous fell in the yield margins.
Additionally, more than 2.1mn passengers flew with Air Arabia amid the period, in line with the record number of passengers carried in the first quarter of 2016.
Furthermore, the airline’s average seat load factor or passengers carried as a percentage of available seats, amid the cited period of the year reached 81 percent.
