(MENAFN) Sharjah-based low-cost carrier Air Arabia posted a15 percent rise in quarterly earnings, as it carried more passengers, Reuters reported.
The airline said it made USD20.7 million net profit during the second quarter, up from USD17.96 million a year earlier.
Air Arabia also reported a 17 percent increase in quarterly revenue to USD216.94 million compared to a year ago.
The airline carried more than 3 million passengers during the first half of 2013, a 16 percent increase compared with 2.6 million passengers during the same period last year.
