10 Jun 2012

(MENAFN) Sharjah-based low-cost carrier Air Arabia will launch a new service route to Salalah, the second route in the Sultanate of Oman, starting on June 28, Arabian Business reported.

Air Arabia said it will fly twice a week to the new destination, which will bring the airline’s total network to 75 destinations

The launch of services to Salalah will complement Air Arabia’s existing flights to Muscat, which operate twice daily.

Air Arabia last month reported a 12 percent increase in first quarter profit to USD12.8 million, from USD11.6 million a year earlier, while revenue grew by USD169.3 million from USD139.69 million.
