Ajman to invest USD571m airport plans

(MENAFN) Ajman announced it is planning to invest USD571 million in the new Ajman International Airport project, Arabian Business reported.

The airport, which is being constructed in the Al Manama area of the emirate, will include arrival and departure lounges, hangars and cargo handling and which is expected to be launched in 2018.

Ajamn also said that the project will be eco-friendly, in support of Ajman Vision 2021, and will support the emirate’s future plans to boost its economy and tourism.

As the UAE’s smallest emirate, Ajman is planning to use 40 percent of its 2014 budget to increase work on new development, economic and social projects
