(MENAFN) Dubai Elect and Water Authority proclaimed work on the 800MW phase three of the USD13.6bn Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is progressing with 22 percent of the project finished.
Additionally, the World Expo will be linked to the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, which will offer it with 400MW of power.
Moreover, the installation progress of the third phase will be finished by 2020, as proclaimed Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, the managing director of Dewa.
The firm has recorded a levelized cost of elect of USD2.99 cents per kilowatt hour for the third phase of the solar park, to be operational in 2020.
