(MENAFN) According to European traders, Algeria’s state grains agency OAIC bought 580,000 tons of optional-origin milling wheat in a bid closed on Tuesday.
In details, they said that prices paid ranged from USD201 to USD201.50 a ton, with cost and freight included; also shipment was due in January.
While Algeria is one of the world’s largest grain importers, usually it does not publish details of its international tenders and results that can be revised when traders report additional sales.
