Algeria’s oil, gas exports grow by 9pct

(MENAFN) Algerian state-run energy firm Sonatrach”s oil and gas exports reached 89mn tons of oil equivalent in the Jan-Oct period of this year, a 9pct increase.
Furthermore, the firm’s oil production increased by 80.000 barrels per day in Q3, which led to a rise of almost 1mn tons of Sahara Blend.
In addition, gas exports in the cited period increased by 40 percent, compared with the same period of 2015.
Meanwhile, the company has invested and signed many deals to enhance output from is mature field, while several new gas fields partnered with foreign firms.
