(MENAFN) Alstom, a French power giant, plans to supply generators for a powerful plant in Saudi Arabia and will sign a USD227 million contract for the project, according to Arabian Business.
The company, which has been chosen by Hyundai Heavy Industries to win the contract, will supply Shuqaiq project with four 720 MW steam turbine generator sets.
Alstom said that the contract includes the engineering, manufacturing, supply and field services for all four steam turbines and generators, while the project is due to finish in 2017.
