(MENAFN) Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, Nouadhibou Free Zone Authority along with the Islamic Corporation for Development of the Private Sector (ICD) have signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation, Arab News reported.
The three way memorandum aims at establishing a basis for successful cooperation and exchange of experience promoting cooperation between Jordan and Mauritania.
Meanwhile, ICD, a member of the Islamic Development Bank group, intends to launch a package of technical cooperation and expertise exchange programs between Aqaba and Nouadhibou authorities based on the advanced expertise of Aqaba Special Economic Zone.
These programs will include corporate support, capacity building of structures in Nouadhibou Authority as well as strengthening the capacities of the Nouadhibou Free Zone Authority in port services, urban planning, infrastructure, and property management.
