Arab exports make up 20% of Brazilian Q1 oil imports

(MENAFN) Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) General Secretary and CEO, Dr. Michel Alaby, stated that 20 percent of Brazil’s oil
imports were from the Arab countries in the first quarter of this year, reported Emirates 24/7.

Dr. Alaby also said that Brazil imported more than USD2.76 billion worth of mineral fuel, oil, gas and other energy products from more than one Arab country in the period from January to April.

ABCC’s CEO added that Brazil has projected its oil production to reach over 1 million barrels per day after new discoveries of pre-salt oil reserves.
