Aramco Products Trading eyes trade boost

08 May 2012

(MENAFN) Saudi Aramco Products Trading Co. Chief Executive Officer, Said Al-Hadrami, said that the company would utilize its current strong status in the market in order to boost the volume of its refined oil products trading to 1.5 million barrels per day (bpd), up from the current 500,000 to 600,000, reported Arab News.

The affiliate of Aramco was established to handle products other than crude including refined products, condensate, sulfur, and LPG in the coming future.

Aramco Products Trading came in response to the volatility in the market, which would be handled better within the subsidiary compared to a regular marketing department, Al-Hadrami added.
