Aramco to expand offshore fleet

(MENAFN) Seatrade Communications Limited said that Saudi Aramco plans to expand its offshore fleet by 50 vessels by 2016, Saudi Gazette reported.
The company will increase the number of vessels in its fleet to 260 and replace some of its older vessels with newer and more powerful models.
“Our business plan for the next 5 years is just about $100bn, which is a significant investment for our company to spend in the coming years,” said industrial services executive director at Saudi Aramco.
