(MENAFN) The CEO of Bahrain Air, Richard Nuttall, told Arabian Business that he would be open to a merger with Gulf Air as that would boost Bahrain Air’s efficiency and expand its network.
Nuttall explained that both carriers are facing losses and that joined forces could be what it takes to pull them out of their troubles.
The CEO added that a merger would be beneficial for both parties, especially that Bahrain has limited traffic rights and thus a merger would lead to the expansion of the carriers’ networks.
