Bahrain- Gulf Hotels’ 2012 profit grows to USD26.8m

(MENAFN) Gulf Hotels Group’s chairman, Farouk Almoayyed, stated that net profit for 2012 hit USD26.81 million, reported Gulf Daily News.
Almoayyed said that total gross operating revenue in the year reached USD84.38 million, up from USD76.20 million in 2011.
In 2012’s fourth quarter, gross operating revenue was USD23.99 million, compared with USD22.41 million in the same period a year earlier.
It is worth noting that in 2012; the Gulf Hotel Group introduced the brand new Hawar Meeting Rooms, consisting of 5 executive meeting rooms located on a private floor, which raised the number of the hotel’s meeting and events inventory to 27 venues.
