(MENAFN) Gulf Petrochemical Industries’ president, Abdulrahman Jawahery, stated that the company’s output reached its highest monthly level in January, at 140,258 metric tons (mt), reported Gulf Daily News.
Jawahery added that the amount comprised 61,549 metric tons of granular urea, 39,995 metric tons of ammonia and 38,714 metric tons of methanol.
The president said that the company spends a considerable amount on capital spending projects to constantly enhance its operations and products, a key factor in sustaining the firm’s plants efficiency.
It is worth noting that in November, Gulf Petrochemical concluded a periodic maintenance of its plants and facilities, the company’s biggest ever.
