(MENAFN) Bahrain’s Ministry of Housing announced it is currently discussing plans to build 40.000 housing units, Arabian Business reported.
The plan, which will include a series of projects, is set to include constructing residential blocks as well as launching new phases in the housing towns under construction, with the project expected to be financed under the GCC development program.
The Ministry said it has already given approval for work to start on the East City Town, and that construction is currently underway in the first phase of the multi-stage East Hidd City, which will include 483 units.
