(MENAFN) BAHRAIN: The Bahrain-based leading ship and rig repair yard in the Arabian Gulf, Asry, announced its highest revenues record since its launch in 1977 reaching USD54 million in the current first quarter of the current year, according to Gulf Daily News.
Chris Potter, chief executive, commented: “We’re pleased to see a response from our recent investment in expansion.”
Potter added: “By investing in creating a yard that now has the leading variety of facilities and capabilities, the market seems to be welcoming a fully diversified marine complex.”
Ship repair and offshore repair were the main reasons behind the significant boost in the company’s revenues.
