(MENAFN) Dr. Hassan Fakhro, Industry and Commerce Minister of Bahrain, launched the Export for Manufacturing Forum that supports the local manufacturing of the country which allows it to reach a higher level of competitiveness and expands the income sources, according to Gulf Daily News.
The forum looks for developing and enhancing export infrastructure of local-manufactured units, as Dr. Fakhro stated.
“They also help to educate manufacturers about exports and refine and develop professional skills pertaining to tenders, quotations, negotiation and contracts,” Dr. Fakhro commented.
The national economy will be the primary beneficiary of the supporting-exports process.
He added: “Linking exports with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) will enhance their ability to increase sales.”
