(MENAFN) The Bahraini government has set 2013 draft budget at an oil price of USD90 per barrel, Gulf Daily News reported.
MP Latifa Al Gaoud said the oil price included in Bahrain’s 2013-2014 national budget is feasible and reflects market predictions.
Al Gaoud was speaking as she chaired the parliament and Shura Council financial and economic joint committee meeting in the presence of the Finance Minister, the paper said.
Total government subsidies for citizens for 2013 reached USD3.95 billion and USD4.17 billion for 2014.
The meeting also agreed to separate accounts of Bahrain petroleum Company (Bapco) from the Finance Ministry to improve transparency.
The meeting also agreed to include revenues and expenses of Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Ministry in the state budget, Akhbar Al Khaleej reported.
