(MENAFN) Bahrain’s flag carrier Gulf Air reported 6 percent increase in half-yearly revenue as business improves, Arabian Business reported.
Passenger traffic also recorded a 13 percent growth in the first half of the year, while seat load factors reached 77 percent, up five percent from a year earlier, the airline added.
CEO Samer Majali said the airline’s Falcon Gold premium class increased 35 percent growth while economy class grew by 12 percent growth.
He added that the carrier is implementing cost-efficiency and sales efficiency measures, as it seeks to cut costs by 15 percent this year.
