(MENAFN) Bahrain’s Investcorp said that the company’s real estate investments in the US real estate market reached USD300 million in 2011, reported Arab News.
The firm added that recently it invested in three equity projects that included the purchase of Power Tower office complex in Long Beach, California, which would grant the firm a Class A office tower in a major coastal area.
Whereas the other investments were the acquisition of the Bethesda Health City building in Boynton Beach, Florida and the purchase of the Atlanta, Georgia-based Ashford garden and townhouse community, with a total cost of USD37 million for both acquisitions.
It is worth noting that the three properties were acquired according to Shariah rules.
