(MENAFN) Bahrain’s Manara Developments announced the launch of phase two of Wahat Al Muharraq project at a cost of USD47.4 million, Gulf Daily News reported.
Manara started work of phase two of Wahat Al Muharraq, which targets middle income customers, after it saw a strong demand, managing director Dr Hassan Al Bastaki said in a statement.
Phase two includes the construction of 180 villas, 79 of which are attached to neighboring villas, 77 semi-attached and 24 stand-alone type villas.
They are characterized by larger room sizes along with the three new themes, which are unique to the houses in the second phase.
Dr Al Bastaki affirmed that Manara’s projects continue to set its position as a market leader in the provision of affordable housing.
The housing provided was compatible with the purchasing power of a wide range of home buyers in Bahrain, and those with housing applications with the Ministry of Housing, he added.
