(MENAFN) Bahrain’s Works Ministry announced that in January, it granted 7 tenders with a combined value of USD12.2 million, reported Gulf Daily News.
The tenders cover roads, sanitary engineering and construction sectors, according to Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Khayyat, under-secretary for technical services.
Al Khayyat said that the roads tender had 4 projects that include overhaul work in Isa Town.
He added that the sanitary engineering sector included the awarding of Busaiteen Sewerage Network Project in Block 227, whereas the tender in the construction sector covered the awarding of the tent construction project at the Constitutional Court Building.
It is worth noting that the ministry has also invited firms to bid for other 4 tenders in January, worth a total of USD6.06 million.
