(MENAFN) Qatari firm Daman Islamic Insurance Company (Beema) said that its net profit more than doubled in the January-September period of this year, The Peninsula Qatar reported.
Beema’s net profit soared 111 percent from last year’s period reaching USD10.9 million. The company’s earnings from investment went up 154 percent.
The firm’s chairman said: “What has been achieved during the past nine month is a good step forward and it is encouraging us for more success at the end of the year 2013.”
