(MENAFN) Best Western International unveiled plans to open its Best Western Premier brand in Oman in October, Oman Daily Observer reported.

The 4-star Best Western Premier Muscat is located in the key business and commercial district of Al Khuwair, close to several embassies and government ministries.

Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s VP International Operations (Asia & the Middle East), said the Oman launch comes as part of Best Western’s expansion strategy for the Middle East region.

De Souza added that the 10-storey hotel includes 203 contemporary guestrooms and suites that offer a range of refined amenities such as plush bedding, 42-inch LED flat-screen TVs with a variety of satellite channels, complimentary Wi-Fi and luxurious bathrooms with rain showers.

Best Western, which has existing hotels in Riyadh, Al Khobar and Doha, plans to add a further 20 hotels across the region within 2015, De Souza said.
