(MENAFN) The UAE’s Federal Customs Authority (FCA) announced that trade between the country and Qatar reached around USD653 million in the first quarter, reported The Peninsula.
The FCA said that the country’s imports from Qatar reached USD160.90 million, whereas exports to Qatar were at USD73.5 million, and re-exports at USD326.7 million.
In the period, the UAE’s total non-oil foreign trade with the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) reached USD5.06 billion, with USD1.30 billion in exports, USD1.87 billion in re-exports and USD1.87 billion in imports.
It is worth noting that the UAE’s total trade with Saudi in the first quarter reached USD1.93 billion, followed by Oman with USD1.27 billion, whereas it reached USD653 million with Kuwait, and USD544 million with Bahrain.
