(MENAFN) BMW Group Middle East’s director of Sales and Marketing, Alexander Eftimov, stated that the company’s sales in the Middle East jumped by 14 percent in the January-September period to 15,805 units, reported Arabian Business.
Eftimov added that in August, sales reached 1,981 units in the region, posting the highest sales volume in a single month.
He said that 48 percent of the total sales were recorded in the UAE during the first 9 months of the year.
In terms of individual sales, Jordan posted a surge of 50 percent, followed by Oman with 40 percent, Kuwait 31 percent, Abu Dhabi 30 percent, Qatar 19 percent, Lebanon 18 percent and Saudi Arabia 14 percent.
It is worth noting that in the 9-month period, Mini sales jumped 19 percent, led by the Mini Countryman.
