(MENAFN) Bulgaria’s Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Lilyana Pavlova, stated that negotiations between her country and Qatar on a USD965 million highway project are still going on, reported Arabian Business.
Pavlova said that negotiations with the Gulf country would continue, even though Turkey withdrew from the project.
She added that the two sides are working on preparing a memorandum that will be confirmed by the two governments, and then it will be officially inked.
It is worth noting that the 300km highway is planned to link the Danube River town of Ruse, bordering Romania, with the southern town of Svilengrad, bordering Greece and Turkey.
