(MENAFN) Tim Hortons’ Executive Chairman, Paul House, said that over the coming five years, the Canadian firm would expand its business through launching 120 outlets in the GCC, reported Emirates 24/7.
House added that soon the company would officially open branches in Abu
Dhabi’s Mushrif Mall and Dubai’s Deira City Centre, Jumeirah Beach Residence and Dubai Outlet Mall, whereas the first outlet, on Sheikh Zayed Road, was opened in September.
He also said that the Dubai market, was multicultural mix and similar to the Canadian market, adding that Sheikh Zayed store was launched for training, however, the response was unbelievable.
It is worth noting that Tim Hortons has 3,811 system-wide restaurants, including 3,189 in Canada and 622 in the US, in addition to the 120 outlets the firm plans to open in the GCC, except Saudi.
