(MENAFN) Omani developer Omran’s CEO, Wael Al Lawati, stated that the British firm Carillion won a contract for the construction of a new convention and exhibition centre in Oman, reported Arabian Business.
The CEO of the state-set-up firm also said that the construction will be carried out by Carillion Alawi, the Omani arm of the British construction giant.
Lawati added that the contract includes the construction of exhibition
halls, the district cooling plant, and car park facilities.
It is worth noting that the convention and exhibition centre, set to be
completed by 2016, will include 14 meeting rooms for 70-360 delegates,
two ballrooms, VIP Pavilion, and food court.
