(MENAFN) Oman’s central bank raised OMR80mn on treasury bills for a maturity period of 28 days, from Jan 18 until Feb 15, 2017.
Moreover, the average accepted price reached 99.967 for every OMR100 and the minimum accepted reached 99.965 per OMR100.
In addition, the interest rate on the Repo ops with Central Bank of Oman is 1.268 percent for the cited period from Jan 17, 2017 to Jan 23, 2017.
Furthermore, treasury bills promote the regional money market by making benchmark yield curve for short-term interest rates.
