CH2M Hill wins contract for Qatar 2022 World Cup

MENAFN) CH2M Hill won a programme management consultant contract from Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee to help deliver Qatar’s 2022 World Cup tournament, Arabian Business reported.

The US consulting, engineering and construction firm won the contract over five other multinational competitors from five other multinational companies.

The firm, over the next six months, will help the Supreme Council provide a delivery timeline of the Qatar 2022 projects over the next decade.

Its will also continue for two years after the tournament to complete “legacy commitments”.

The Supreme Committee is responsible for building all the proposed stadiums and training sites for the World Cup, as well as helping coordinate major associated infrastructure works such as the New Doha International Airport and the upcoming metro network.
