(MENAFN)China has recently announced its plan to strengthen bilateral trade ties with Dubai to boost its growth and prosperity in trade, according to Arab News.
The announcement was revealed in a meeting held between Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, director of Dubai Customs, and Tang Weibing, Chinese consul general in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The two parties emphasized on the importance of developing trade relations between them which hit a trade value of USD36.75 billion in 2013.
Musabih said: “Dubai takes on a vibrant role to keep the Chinese commodities flowing to the world. We hold regular meetings with Chinese officials who are willing to expand the markets for their products by benefiting from Dubai’s position in global trade.”
