(MENAFN) Shenzhen, a leading economic centre in Southern China, plans to strengthen investment and trade ties with Bahrain, according to Gulf Daily News.
The announcement was revealed in a visit by an official business delegation from Shenzhen to Bahrain.
The Chinese delegation include Hytera, a manufacturer of radio transceivers and radio systems; ZTE, a multinational telecommunications equipment and systems company; and Huawei, a multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company whose GCC regional headquarters is located in Bahrain.
Transportation Minister and EDB acting chief executive Kamal Ahmed said: “It is a great pleasure to welcome the delegation from Shenzhen to Bahrain. Such high-level visits between Bahrain and China have contributed to support the bilateral economic and trade relationship between the two countries including a delegation led by His Majesty last year.”
