(MENAFN) A major Chinese car maker said it plans to partner with Saudi in establishing a car assembly plant in the Kingdom, according to Arab News.
General Manager of BYD Chinese Cars in Saudi markets Ibrahim Qahtan said that the plant aims to provide Saudi with Chinese cars, spare parts and create jobs for Saudis.
He said that the BYD automaker has planned to set up a car assembly plant in partnership with the sole BYD car agent in the Kingdom.
