Chinese firm to set up new factory in Egypt

(MENAFN) Egypt Minster of Industry and Trade proclaimed that a Chinese firm will establish a new factory in Egypt to produce aluminum plates that cover the facades of buildings.

Moreover, the joint project will cost USD100mn, which will be located in Ataqa industrial zone, north of the Gulf of Suez.

Additionally, the Chinese firm has chosen to work in Egypt to benefit from the competitive advantages, like the large market which surpasses 90mn consumers.

Meanwhile, the firm is seeking to benefit from the COMESA deal that would enable it to have access to the markets of a large number of African nations.
